It’s Friday and time to get ready for this Sunday’s services. What a thrill it is to have been called by the Almighty to preach and teach the Word of God! I am more aware then ever before the power that the Bible has because of it’s Divine origin and present tranformational ministry in our lives!
This Sunday at First Baptist Church of Sanford we will be observing the Lord’s Supper. This is one of the two ordinances that we have been instructed in the Bible to observe. We observe it because we have been redeemed (saved) and yearn and desire to walk closely with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! There are many purposes for this ordinance but at its core is the rememberance of all that Jesus did for us when He died on the cross of Calvary. There are four areas that we will be considering as we prepare ourselves for this blessed time together this Sunday morning. Spend some time thinking about these items so you can be personally ready for this special time.
