Romans 1:17
This is the passage we will be studying this coming Sunday (Feb. 21). My, what a wonderful passage that challenges God’s people in their daily walk with the Lord. It has been a challenge for me as I seek to have my own heart lined up with the Word of God before the message is presented to the congregation. Please pray that your heart would be open to the Word of God and that the Spirit of God would speak clearly to you as well.
As I pray for First Baptist Church this morning, I am so thankful for the honor of being the pastor. I must say that FBC is a joy to pastor, and we do have a good time with each other. My heart is somewhat heavy though for I know so very well that we have so many people to reach for Jesus Christ. I am sensing a renewed hunger for the Word of God and a real hunger for life changing fellowship as well. I am praying and asking God to show me how I can lead First Baptist Church to reach all these people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I have some things on my heart for this summer that could be the beginning of reaching our communities for Jesus. Please join me in prayer as we seek to be intentional in our outreach.
